2009 Turkey Penny Sale
A grand
time was had by all who attended the 2009 Turkey Penny Sale. We began 5:30 pm and drawings finally ended at 11PM! There
were turkey baskets, ham baskets, handmade Christmas decorations, gifts for both adults and children, and many donations
from our generous local stores, neighbors, and other concerns. Our final tally resulted in over $1,300.
At the December directors meeting it was decided to donate a portion of the profits to the Salvation Army requesting
that the Stop & Shop gift cards donated be given to needy families in Lakeville with first priority to Clark
Shores. Future donation suggestions are in the planning stage to be discussed further in the spring.
We are looking
forward to the 2010 Turkey Penny Sale scheduled for November 20, 2010.
